About Chris Missling

Chris Missling began his real estate career in 2011 as an analyst for the first SFR REIT, where he played an instrumental role in underwriting and executing more than 400 transactions. By 2015, he advanced as an asset aggregator for another institutional fund, expanding his transactional scope and successfully closing an additional 100 properties. Over the next several years, his work from owning a portfolio of rentals and apartments evolved toward strategic advisory, and by 2021, he was guiding clients through complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio repositioning.

With a combined track record spanning residential, multifamily, and commercial sectors, Mr. Missling brings extensive experience in both investment execution and capital formation. As a GP/LP investor, currently with $55 million in assets under management (AUM) and has raised significant private capital across multiple funds and partnerships.  His investment portfolio spans multiple U.S. states, giving him first hand insight into market dynamics, underwriting discipline, and capital deployment strategies across asset classes.  His dual perspective as both an operator and investor allow him to understand and align with client objectives while maintaining a disciplined investment approach.

A Minnesota native, Mr. Missling is deeply involved in the state’s professional community. He is an active member of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Minneapolis Area Realtors (MAR), the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors (SPAAR), and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR). He also serves as a 2026 Board Member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America-Twin Cities (AREAA), and is a designated candidate pursuing the CCIM accreditation.
